Daniel C. Vollaro, CPA

Dan joined our firm in 1983 and was admitted as a partner in 1989. Dan grew up in Brewster, NY and graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a B.S. in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting. He became licensed as a CPA in CT in 1984 and his Professional Affiliations include membership in the American Institute of CPA’s and the Connecticut Society of CPA’s. Dan’s practice is based in our Cheshire CT office where he serves our clientele throughout the state.

As a business and tax accountant, Dan provides consulting and compliance services to privately held businesses and their owners. He advises his clients on selecting the best legal form of operation for tax purposes, accounting system operation, income tax planning and preparation as well as eventually selling their business and on trust and estate matters. Dan also provides audit and accounting services to not-for-profit organizations where he has developed an industry niche. He provides clients with a sound and practical approach to accounting and tax issues which he has developed over 38 years of practice.

Dan’s current community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors as Treasurer of Shakesperience Productions, Inc which is a Waterbury CT based not-for-profit theater company offering performance and educational programs through the state of CT.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys boating, biking, and hiking activities in Connecticut’s Northwest Corner where he lives with his wife Sandy and their sweet pup Rosie. He also enjoys traveling to spend time with his two daughters in the Raleigh, NC and Boston, MA areas. Dan is a loyal (and long suffering) fan of his beloved New York Mets and New York Jets and is also willing to break out his “tailgate package” at any sign of a UCONN football game.
