Michael A. Ziebka, CPA

Michael joined our firm in 1984 and has 39 years of experience in public accounting. In addition to being the firm’s managing partner, Michael oversees the firm’s quality control function, guides our auditing practice and is pivotal in complex transaction analysis, due diligence projects, IRS Section 754 basis adjustments and basis step-ups, and high-level IRS representation and IRS appeals procedures.

Born in Southington, CT, Michael graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a BS in Accounting. He went on to obtain his Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut, and he loves his time in both Farmington, CT and Pinehurst, NC.

Michael enjoyed his time as a member of the board of directors of Farmington Bank and was instrumental in assisting the bank in becoming a public company that ultimately became part of M&T Bank. Mike has equally enjoyed volunteering his time in numerous local organizations such as Services for the Elderly, the Farmington Bank Community Foundation, the Country Club of Farmington, and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife of 20+ years on the golf courses in Pinehurst and Farmington, and spending time with his son, either golfing or checking out cool cars. One of Mike’s favorite adventures is tending to their three dogs – two boxers, Bobby Jones & Lola, and the mayor of the household, a French Bulldog, Marvin.
